Have you ever gone out to dinner & was annoyed because a toddler at a nearby table started acting up? Screaming? Throwing things? Banging on the table & just being unruly? Well let me tell you, going out to dinner with children is not an easy feat! I applaude parents who take their children out & manage to have a somewhat tranquil evening. Hell, I admire parents that take their kids out to TRY & have a normal night, but don't succeed.
As a parent of a toddler, I honestly think home cooked meals (& the occasional take out) are my best route. Restaurants aren't even an option to me at this point! Yet for Mother's Day, my husband wanted to treat me the night before, to avoid the Mother's Day traffic.
We went out for Sushi & Thai food located on the water. Kiana enjoyed walking, seeing the pelicans and boats.
As we were ordering, she pretended to read the menu & she soon got bored. She started to stand in her high chair & attempted to climb on the table, so I let her sit on my lap to avoid having her run around the restaurant.
She slid the menus around & it hit my cup of water straight across the table, which fell all over the right side of daddy's shirt & lap "/ So much for a smooth evening. Angel took it in stride & Kiana ate from my plate the rest of the night. Needless to say, it's always something new everytime!
